About ME
Hi, I’m J.F. Salazar—thank you for visiting!
I believe I can help you take more decisive action, live with greater intentionality, and elevate your leadership and management capabilities.
With nearly two decades of experience in the corporate world, I’ve grown from an individual contributor to leading both individual contributors and people managers at the directorship and executive levels. My expertise spans Sales Management, Learning & Development, Agency and Bancassurance Recruitment, and Distribution Strategy.
Beyond my professional life, I’m deeply passionate about family & parenting, personal finance, and physical & mental health. My daily routine includes early morning walks, meditation and lifting weights. On some occasions, I find time to play music and practice martial arts. Lastly, but certainly not the least, I love traveling the world with my dear wife!
Experience & Education
I began leading a team in a non-profit organization in my late teens, a role I continued well into my 30s. This early leadership experience laid the foundation for my transition into the corporate world, where I started by managing a small team of three corporate managers. Over time, I took on greater responsibilities, eventually leading a department of over 60 individuals—including directors and executive direct reports—within 2 Global Fortune 500 companies.
Through these experiences, I have navigated the complexities of leadership and management, rigorously applying and refining the principles found in books and championed by leadership experts. Leading both non-profits and corporate teams for nearly two decades has provided me with a deep, real-world understanding of what it takes to develop effective leaders in diverse environments.
Now, I’m eager to share these insights and proven strategies to help organizations strengthen their leadership capabilities and achieve excellence.
Academically, I hold a degree in Information Technology from Mapúa Institute of Technology and am currently pursuing postgraduate studies in General Management at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM).
